Lion King Jr production update - two shows today
Dear Parents and Whanau,
We apologise that the performance of Lion King Jr had to be postponed.
We have made a number of decisions regarding this and have summarised them below
We have decided to add another performance today as we cannot do it any other day.
The start times for the two shows will be 5pm and 7.30pm
Tickets from last night’s show will be valid for the 5pm show only as the 7.30pm show is fully booked out
If you cannot make the 5pm show, please return your programme for a full refund
Schedule for today Thursday 6th September
Please return your children to school by 4pm so that we can begin preparing them for the show.
If your children will be going to after school care, we will collect them from there
If your child attends another after school activity, please ensure they return to school by 4pm
If you cannot collect your child at 3pm and return them by 4pm, please email the office to let us know, and we will look after them at school
Between the two shows, we will feed them some dinner.
If you are not attending the 7.30pm show, please collect your child from their changing room classroom at 9.15pm
Note – photos and videos of the show will be provided FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL FAMILIES
We will send you the link to these as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please email us and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
The children and staff, together with the Board of Trustees and Parent-Teacher Association, welcome you to Blockhouse Bay Primary School.
Our children enjoy many diverse opportunities to learn supported by our community. We encourage you to participate in the numerous opportunities to take part in the life of the school.
Such opportunities include special school occasions, fundraising, parent interviews, library assistance, help with school field trips and within the classrooms. Participation in activities such as these will enable you to become familiar with the school and its community, and to experience the vitality of the school as a learning place.
One cannot separate the home and the school learning environment, as the two combine to support a child to learn and make a happy, well adjusted student. The teacher gives professional assistance, encouragement and advice and has a major role in the student's development. The school has a part to play in the growing up process of your child, but this is done in tandem with the home.
