Rimu's Olympics Day

Blockhouse Bay Primary School - Rimu's Olympics Day

What an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G day we had. Room 14 wore their Albanian colors with pride and chanted their lungs out. We enjoyed seeing the other countries and clapped for them when they showcased their pride during the parade. Prior to the Olympics, Room 14 were divided into 7 separate teams. These teams were based on the children's most challenging skill e.g. skipping, goal shooting or running. In these teams the children practised their skills so that they were ready to challenge themselves during the Olympics. Teacher's had to decide the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings for children who did especially well during their challenges. We really enjoyed ourselves.
